Easter Hafters Explorers

Get ready explorers!

On the 8th of April 2024, a new event begins and runs until the 11th of April. For just £15 per day, your child can learn and create memories that will last a lifetime. On offer are trips to Pennington Flash, Haigh Hall and the Lancashire Mining Museum with the groups rotating through these trips from the 8th April to the 10th April. On the 11th April, all groups will take part in the same activity which is Clog Dancing and a Wiganese Quiz in the morning. In the afternoon, it will be "Desert Island Spotify No 1."

There are plenty of sites hosting this event located all around Wigan such as Bickershaw, Leigh South, Norley Hall, Poolstock, Shakerley and Scholes.

We will provide everything your child will need for a fun day of adventure, including a nutritious packed lunch. If they wish to do so, children can also bring their mobile phones and cameras to capture their experiences. Before leaving, please ensure your children are dressed appropriately taking into account the activities they will be taking part in.

Depending on location, the coaches will depart at either 9:30am or 10am returning to the pickup site by 14:00, traffic permitting.

Your child's safety is our main priority. All staff involved are fully trained in child safeguarding, protection and hold DBS certificates ensuring a safe environment for the children so the parents don't have to worry!

If your child is on free school meals, this event will be fully subsidised so your child can attend for FREE!

Unfortunately, our programme may not be suitable for children in wheelchairs or with complex personal needs due to the nature of our trips.
