OUR WORK
Seven projects. One connected story.
Everything PPP does connects back to the same purpose — making sure talent and creativity are not limited by background, ability to pay, or where you were born.

See the work in motion.
ON THE KEYS
Piano Warriors.
Where piano meets rugby culture — one thread in how PPP connects music, sport and place.
MOVEMENT
Dance, in community.
Part of how we create — movement in the room alongside music, performance and media.
HOW IT CONNECTS
Not isolated projects — a joined-up model.
PPP doesn’t deliver activities in isolation. Every project connects to the same underlying system — using culture, heritage, sport and media as tools for identity, confidence and social change. All of it rooted in Wigan.

ALL PROJECTS
Explore every project.
Seven projects forming one complete story of what PPP does and why it matters.
THEME A — IDENTITY & CULTURE
Identity & Culture
PPP uses performance, heritage and music to help communities take ownership of their own story. When a town like Wigan gets to write about itself — rather than be written about — everything changes.

THEME B — BREAKING BARRIERS
Breaking Barriers
This is about proving that the categories we put people in are wrong. When rugby players do ballet and ballet dancers carry a rugby ball, something shifts — not just for them, but for everyone watching.

THEME C — ACCESS & OPPORTUNITY
Access & Opportunity
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. PPP exists to close that gap — through direct provision, free at the point of access, for the communities that need it most.
THEME D — VOICE & STORYTELLING
Voice & Storytelling
It's not enough to give someone a microphone. PPP builds platforms — media production, youth journalism, community songwriting — so that young people don't just have a stage, they have ownership.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
We don’t run arts projects. We build pathways for people and communities to be seen, heard and valued.
SOCIAL IMPACT
Opportunities most children never get on their doorstep.
Our Holiday Activities and Food programme and wider work are about more than filling holiday weeks — they open doors to creative arts, performance, food and safe spaces that many families could not access otherwise.
